FAQ – Regional Conference

  • We are a TAPA EMEA member. Is there a maximum number of delegates we can register for the South Africa Regional Conference 2023?

    TAPA EMEA members are invited to register up to three delegates for this event.

  • I am not a TAPA EMEA member. Can I still register to join the South Africa Regional Conference?

    Yes, non-members are welcome to register to join us but will be asked to pay a delegate fee of 1,800 rand per person. If you subsequently decide to become a member of TAPA EMEA within 3 months of this event, you delegate fee will be deducted from your first year’s membership cost.

  • Is the event being livestreamed?

    No. This is a local event, but coverage of the presentations will be included in the issue of TAPA EMEA’s Vigilant magazine following the conference.

  • What are the timings of the conference sessions?

    The South Africa Regional Conference will commence at 08.00hrs on 7 March for networking, tea, and coffee. The presentations will be from 09.00-16.30hrs. During the day, there will be two coffee breaks and a lunch break to provide maximum opportunities to meet with other delegates, our exhibitors, and members of the TAPA EMEA leadership team.

  • Is there an exhibition?

    Yes, TAPA EMEA is giving Supply Chain Security service providers the opportunity to take table-top exhibition spaces to showcase their companies, products, and services.

  • How do we book an exhibition space?

  • Is the Introduction to TAPA EMEA’s Supply Chain Security Standards session on 8 March only for TAPA EMEA members and is there a cost to attend?

    This session of free of charge for all registered delegates, both TAPA EMEA members and non-members.

  • What are the timings of the Introduction to TAPA EMEA’s Supply Chain Security Standards session on 8 March?

    The day will commence at 08.00 for networking, tea, and coffee. The presentations will begin at 09.00 and will discuss TAPA EMEA’s Facility Security Requirements (FSR), Trucking Security Requirements (TSR) and Parking Security Requirements (PSR). There will be a mid-morning coffee break and a light lunch before the event ends at 13.30hrs.

  • I cannot attend the Regional Conference but would like to be a delegate at the Introduction to TAPA EMEA’s Supply Chain Security Standards session on 8 March. Is this OK?

    Yes, please register to join us. You do not have to have attended the Regional Conference to be eligible to join our Security Standards’ presentation. We are keen to introduce the TAPA Standards to everyone interested in how they can enhance their company’s supply chain resilience.
