Part 1: There is nothing permanent except change, and failing to prepare today is preparing to fail tomorrow
Presenter: Sven Bosch, Vice President Security Europe, DHL Express.
This presentation will discuss the post-pandemic challenges faced & lessons learned in a broad spectrum: political, industry & society. It will look at the impact of today’s global economy, market trends, and challenges. Sven will also present his insight into the outlook for supply chains in the next 1-2 years and share a longer-term, 5-year view, explaining how DHL is preparing for the future, including in terms of security.
Part 2: Sustainability as a future qualifier
Presenter: Christian Harupa, Vice President, Global Head of Life Sciences/Healthcare & Chemicals, DHL Freight.
Sustainability is becoming a key focal point for resilient supply chains, and its importance will only grow as customers press the accelerator on their Environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) responsibilities and expect their suppliers to do likewise. For more and more customers, sustainability is a future qualifier to be selected as a provider of choice. Christian will explain DHL’s roadmap for meeting these expectations and look at options in the market.
