Marcel Saarloos, Chair, TAPA EMEA

Marcel is Chair of TAPA EMEA, leading the Advisory Board in support of the President & CEO of TAPA EMEA and the region’s professional team.

He has previously also served on the TAPA EMEA Board with responsibility for several key functions, including as Lead of the Standards Team and the Incident Intelligence Service (IIS) Team, and is a TAPA Standards trainer. In these roles, he has supported the growth of the TAPA Standards in EMEA and helped to expand the collection of cargo crime incident data to increase intelligence available to members to enhance their loss prevention programmes.

Aside from is voluntary work for TAPA EMEA, Marcel is a regional Supply Chain Security Manager for HP in EMEA, responsible for the security of the HP products from cradle to grave.

Paul Linders, Advisory Board Member, TAPA EMEA

Paul started his career within the national police in the Netherlands, spending over 17 years in law enforcement in multiple roles and cities. He moved into logistics security in 1996 with a global high-tech company before joining CEVA Logistics, where he spent some 15 years, latterly as Director Global Security.

Today, he holds the post of Head of Supply Chain Security, Group Security, Physical & Personnel Security at Philips.

He was first elected to the TAPA EMEA Board in 2002 and is now Vice Chair of the Association in the region.  During this time with the Association, he has been responsible for Membership, Training and the FSR Standard, and acted as the Lead of TAPA’s World Wide Change Control Board (WWCCB).

Markus Prinz, Senior Manager, Trainings & Standards, TAPA EMEA

Markus joined the TAPA EMEA executive team as Senior Manager Standards & Training in February 2021 to contribute his expertise in logistics and share his experience in relation to the Association’s FSR, TSR & PSR Security Standards, support the region’s Standards Team.

Prior to taking this full-time role, Markus was already a TAPA EMEA Board Member, acting also as Training Lead and taking responsibility for the growth and development of the Association’s training programme.

He formerly worked as a quality and security manager at a logistics service provider in Germany, with a daily focus on high value security transports and associated storage.
