TAPA EMEA Standards’ update

TAPA Standards’ experts Paul Linders and Markus Prinz share a detailed look at the Association’s supply chain security Standards, including the new revisions of TAPA’s Parking Security Requirements (PSR) which went live in January 2023, and the upcoming next revisions of the Facility (FSR) and Trucking (TSR) Standards, which take effect on 15 September 2023.
Our speakers will discuss the key changes in the new Standards and the latest training support available from TAPA EMEA. Delegates will also hear more about TAPA EMEA’s approval by the European Commission (EC) to act as an official training centre for its Safe & Secure Truck Parking Areas (SSTPA) Standard to support the development of a network of safe and secure parking areas throughout the EU, improving resting conditions for drivers, and protecting them from violence and cargo crime.
The session will also include an opportunity for delegates to ask their own questions of our TAPA EMEA Standards & training specialists.
SPEAKER PROFILES
Paul Linders is one of the founding members of TAPA EMEA and has spent 23 years serving the Association, using his supply chain security knowledge and expertise to benefit members. He has played a leading role in the development of the TAPA Standards and served as Chair of the Association’s Worldwide Change Control Board.
His career has included over 17 years in Dutch national law enforcement as well as his time as Global Head of Security at CEVA Logistics. Today, he holds the post of Global Head of Supply Chain Security, Group Security, Physical & Personnel Security, at Philips. In April 2023, Paul was honoured with the ribbon and the level of Knight in the orde of Oranje Nassau in his native Netherlands in recognition of his voluntary work with the Association, his career in the security and supply chains sectors, and personal contribution to the security of the Netherlands and the industry he serves.
Markus Prinz joined the TAPA EMEA executive team as Senior Manager, Trainings & Standards in February 2021 to contribute his expertise in logistics and share his experience in relation to the Association’s FSR, TSR & PSR Security Standards, support the region’s Standards Team. Prior to taking this full-time role, Markus was already a TAPA EMEA Board Member, acting also as Training lead and taking responsibility for the growth and development of the Association’s training programme. He formerly worked as a quality and security manager at a logistics service provider in Germany, with a daily focus on high value security transports and associated storage.
