Karsten Griesshammer

Karsten joined BioNTech in April 2021 after more than four years in Lead Security & Loss Prevention Management at Zalando, managing the security of Zalando’s European logistics hubs, with additional oversight of the security of external hubs and return centres. This included the development of security strategies and tactics, as well as managing crime prevention and investigations. Earlier in his career, he was the Founder and Managing Director of Security Service “Plus Secur” providing management of complex security services, and later spent over three years as Risk & Corporate Security, Medical & Regulatory Affairs Manager at Lohmann & Rauscher, a leading international developer, producer, and seller of forward-looking medical devices and hygiene products. Biopharmaceutical New Technologies is a next generation immunotherapy company pioneering novel therapies for cancer and other serious diseases. BioNTech has established a broad set of relationships with multiple global pharmaceutical collaborators, including Genmab, Sanofi, Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, Regeneron, Genevant, Fosun Pharma, and Pfizer.
