Bosch offers various digital services for the transportation and logistics industry.

One example is Bosch Secure Truck Parking that provides technology-based security and service solutions. The focus is on the digital booking platform for truck parking spaces, which allows freight forwarders and drivers to book and pay for parking spaces online. Bosch Secure Truck Parking is part of the digital service platform for logistics, called Bosch L.OS (Logistics Operating System.) In collaboration with U.S.-based cloud provider Amazon Web Services (AWS) Bosch aims to improve efficiency and sustainability in the transportation and logistics industry. Bosch L.OS facilitates smooth interaction between a variety of services and data, for instance fleets are able to book parking lots directly within their Transportation Management System (TMS) without any system breaks.

Dr. Jan-Philipp Weers, Head of Bosch Secure Truck Parking began his career within the Bosch Group in 2010 at the Bosch headquarters in Stuttgart. In his last function before taking responsibility for Bosch Secure Truck Parking, he was for the head of global marketing & business development at Bosch Service Solutions. Prior to joining the Bosch Group, Jan-Philipp worked in a New-York based consultancy firm.
