Theftex
Theftex is a young German startup which was provided with the necessary funding by a Swiss insurance company to realize breakthrough technologies in the field of supply chain security. In addition to state-of-the-art hardware, such as infrared thermal cameras, Theftex also offers software that realizes fully automated monitoring without human intervention. Parametric tracking enables almost unlimited fields of application and unprecedented battery efficiency and led to airline approvals by major airlines. The innovative strength of Theftex led to the fact that the young company is already listed as a preferred supplier for Samsung, has development partnerships with Volkswagen and supplies other corporations such as Airbus, Boeing, BASF and some pharmaceutical companies with its devices. Likewise, some government agencies are among Theftex’s customers. Theftex holds several patents and is supported by the German government with more than one million euros for its latest innovation, a modular tracker that can be adapted to the needs of customers through various add-on boards and, for example, has a direct interface to the truck. In addition to increased safety, this innovation also leads to reduced emissions, as optimized freight space utilization is achieved.
